Bernardo "Bernie" Carbo was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1947. He is currently 66 years old Carbo played for the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburg Pirates, The Cincinnati Reds, St. Luis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, and The Cleveland Indians. He played designated hitter and outfielder. He was a left-handed batter and a right-handed thrower. In 1970 Carbo had a hitting average of .310, 20 home runs, 63 RBI's, 113 hits, an on base percentage of .454, and a slugging average of .551. Carbo was selected rookie of the year by
